"It's beautiful when you sleep." In the past two years, propaganda on social platforms about Koreamedical aesthetics has spread. Sleeping anaesthesia, pain-free Thermage, comfort gold microneedle RF ... sounds like a zero-cost, zero-burden thing. But what is the truth? In those posts that only show "Pre-Vs" cross-references, you're rarely told:Behind the painless beauty, what the unexpected costs are hidden in recovery period.
I interviewed three people from Hong Kong, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur who went to Korea medical aesthetics and asked them to tell the truth about the “less beautiful” post-operative days. Here are their stories.
“I thought my sleep was over and I woke up for two days.”

The doctor said it was hyaluronic acid migration + mild swelling, so I could massage. I pressed for two weeks, no improvement. In the end, they had to ask Hong Kong doctors to dissolve some of them and refill them. Three months later, more than 10,000 HK dollars were spent.”
List of costs:

But...“No pain” is limited to the treatment process and does not include recovery periodI don't know. The real cost, often slowly emerges after you leave the clinic.
If you've decided to go to Korea, don't just stare at the bright contrasts. An additional search of the “anti-black experience” “filling failure fixes” of the “recovery period diary” looks at the less beautiful real cases. Preparing psychologically, keeping up budget and time, choosing formal institutions and experienced doctors — so that when the cost comes, you will not be caught by surprise.
After all, beauty change is a marathon, not a 100-metre sprint. And...It is you who bears the greatest responsibility for the cost.
